Microsoft Bing 2.0 coming soon

Posted by mk | September 16, 2009
.

ZDNet is reporting that Microsoft is nearing the launch of the second edition of their Bing search engine.

Microsoft Bing was launched a couple of months ago and it has done well. Most reviews have been favourable though it has not managed to put a dent in the market share of rival search engine services.

A new updated version could arrive in the coming weeks. Sources claim that a demo could be out as early as next week.

Microsoft Bing Maps might see a major update in this edition of Bing.

Bing is looking better and better by the day. I’m still not happy to give up on Google though, especially since I use iGoogle as my startpage in each new tab so I have RSS feeds and everything. But maybe I should start doing a search on Bing every now and then.
