6 Steps to Build and Grow Your Facebook Group

Hey Friends! You can build and grow up your own Facebook group easily, by following the steps below.
1. Get it Up Right
This is a very important step in the group creation process. Make sure to choose a right title, category and description for your group. A group needs to be most relevant to your brand or the targeted audience (market) to be successful and effective. Include as much information about your group like contact info, location, the main purpose of the group or anything else that can attract members to join your group.
If you want to build real successful group, you need to allow people to post comments, multimedia (photos and videos) in the group. Also, you’d like to make your group public so anyone can join it!
2. Update Regularly
You don’t need to build your Facebook group and then leave it not updated! It’s important to update your news, photos, comments and videos regularly to keep your group grow constantly.
I recommend you to update your group at least once per week, depending on the group niche and category of course.
3. Get New Friends
The best way to het people to join your group is through personal invitation. Take care to get as much friends you can by inviting them to the Facebook. Friends of your Friends can easily see what’s going on their profiles and can automatically join your group too.
Having a large amount of the friends can automatically affect your group count and audience. Keep in mind that you shouldn’t be too aggressive and send invites too often to your friends!
4. Use Email to Send Invitations
Facebook allows you to send group invitations to all of the contacts in your Outlook, Hotmail, Google Mail (Gmail) and Yahoo mail accounts. It’s very important to send these invitations also and keep your contacts informed about your group!
Don’t forget to invite everyone who is not already a Facebook friend of yours.
5. Promote your Group
A very important technique here is to promote your Facebook group on your website, on the internet, in your blog… Wherever you have opportunity to promote it!
The more quality promotion strategy can give you more quality members to your group and grow it fast on the internet.
6. Be Friendly
Always be friendly to your group members, send out periodic emails to your group and encourage them to invite their friends too. Do not abuse your members by spamming them with spam messages, but keep it focused on the group topic and niche.
You’ll notice that many people who join your group will not already be your own Facebook friends, it’s good to sent them an invitation to become your friends too by that way.
